Disney Cruise Line! Who would have
thought, way back in 1998, that the company that brought you Mickey Mouse
and Lion King, would figure out the formula for providing award winning
cruises and designing a magical cruise experience that would keep families
coming back for more at an industry setting pace. Consider this:
If you're concerned that the Disney Magic and Wonder are designed for the kids and not their parents, worry no more. With adults in mind, Disney styled its two ships after yesteryear's majestic transatlantic cruise liners. Their mature Art Nouveau (Wonder) and Art Deco (Magic) styles, richly appointed rooms with hand-woven rugs and polished woods maintain the ships' romance and elegance. That said - Disney is still very much a cruise line for kids and the young at heart. Tightly run programs and enthusiastic staff members - not to mention regular appearances from Mickey and the gang - keep your kids amused and involved. And with the kids up to their mouse ears in events and activities, your usual vacation role as Camp Counselor is history. Onboard, there's an adults-only pool, an adults-only restaurant, and plenty of late night entertainment geared towards grown up audiences. But though you'll find plenty of bars and lounges onboard, Uncle Walt won't let you gamble your money away. That's right - no casino. Trust us…you won't miss it. In the evening you'll meet for a fun dinner and share your adventures. Talk about quality family time! And with their rotational dining program, you and your wait staff move each night to a different dining adventure - a feature unique to the Disney Cruise Line. The Disney team arranges it so that similar groups of travelers (families with young children, couples, singles, etc.) dine together in the same rotation. As always, Disney strives to keep everyone happy by tying up all the loose ends. Disney has it down. In short, if you're looking for the most well rounded family cruise line - you've found it. Now here's another thing to think about: Disney's 7-Night Land and Sea Vacations. Mention to your kids that you're taking them along on a Disney cruise and you can bet that they're expecting a visit to Disney World as well. And, of course, you've got to do both. Not taking them there would be like treating them to a trip to the candy store, showing them the light fixtures, and then walking out. Spare yourself the headache of trying to piece together a cruise and juggling the logistics of a theme park visit. Streamline your purchase by choosing one of Disney's 7-Night Land and Sea Vacation packages. Why? Because a Land and Sea Vacation gives you:
